How did the release of an album move the floor of an artist’s streams?

The release of an album will affect an artist's overall streaming activity. How can we see that in the Connect site?
Accessing the artist dashboard and looking at the Activity Over Time widget will show how a new album has affected the artist's streaming total.
When in the album dashboard, adjust the Time Frame at the top of the site to reflect the date range you want to select.

For example, looking at an album by an artist that was released in Week 17 of 2024, we can see how the album's release has caused a big increase in the artist's total streams.

By changing the Time View to Daily, we can see the specific day of release and how the streams for the full artist's catalog was affected by the album release.

This functionality can also be used to see the affect of a live televised performance by an artist or any event an artist is involved in to see how that event helped the overall streaming of an artist's catalog.
