How do I see what Release Ages are showing gains and/or drops in activity industry wide?
Using the Analysis section:
You can see which Release Ages are showing activity, gains or drops, Industry-wide over a period of time.
You can even configure your own Release Age date ranges!
There are three pre-determined Release Age Periods that can be chosen:
- Current (0-36 months from release date)
- Catalog (36-72 months from release date)
- Deep Catalog (72 months or older from release date)
When looking at Trends or Genres in the Analysis section, select one of these pre-determined Release Age Periods by clicking on the Release Age prompt and select the specific Release Age you would like to see data for.
Or alternately use the slider bar to choose a minimum month-from-release date and a maximum month from release date.
Once you have chosen the Release Ages you would like to see the data for, click on Apply Changes and the data will reset based on your selections.
Using the Activity type dropdown, you can view the data based on:
- Album Equivalent
- Streams
- Song Sales
- Product Sales.
Depending on that Activity type, you can then select the Breakout View to show more specific data.
Example: Choosing "Streams" as Activity Type will give you a choice or Breakout Views: Commercial or Service Type
