How does ID Search work?
ID Search is a newly added feature to Luminate’s Connect platform. We’ve expanded the search option to include alternative ways to search Artists, Albums, Songs and/or Singles. See options below:
- Alternate name
- External IDS from DSP’s and other data partners of Luminate.
- Luminate ID
Below is an example of searching for an artist, rather than using the artist name, used here is an Alternate name. (Drake aka Drizzy)
The More Details section on any Artist, Song or Album dashboard is where you can find External IDs. This section of the platform will provide alternative tools to find artists, songs and/or albums.
The External IDs allow for a more granular (by DSP, label, etc) look at any Album, Song and/or Single. See below for examples of Sources and External IDs.
- FLO
- Apple
- ICPN
- Anghami
To begin your search:
- Use any External ID
- Return to the search bar
- Enter the selected External ID and hit the below toggle for ID Search.
This feature alerts the system that you’re using the new ID search feature, rather than the conventional way of searching for an Artist, Album, Song and/or Single. (See results below)

If you're a subscriber to Luminate's Music Connect, you'll be able to search by ISRC(s) in the platform. On the home screen, enter = fhek00000000 (ISRC) and if registered the songs portal will appear where you can pull the dashboard. If not ...
