SV(M) Portfolios: Create custom lists of titles

Build portfolios of up to 200 titles for quick reference and simplified tracking.

Open  Portfolios from the sidebar menu.

Back to User Guide

Build a portfolio

If you haven’t created a portfolio yet, Portfolios opens on a mostly-blank screen. Click the + New Portfolio button to get started.

  1. Name your portfolio

Enter a name for your portfolio in the NEW PORTFOLIO pop-up window.

Click Create Portfolio at bottom right to proceed. (No pressure: you can change the name later).

  1. Add items

Click + Add Items to open the ADD ITEMS overlay. Use the top search bar to search for movies or TV series by title keyword. Matching results will appear below sorted by popularity. Select any title by checking the box at left.

Add movies and TV shows
By default, keyword searches return both movie and TV results that match your query. Use the tabs at top left to switch from All to Movies or TV Shows to view sorted search results.

Check as many items as desired in either category to include them.
.

Once you select a title, you can start a new search. A count of selected titles will appear in the Portfolio Items tab.

  1. Finalize and build portfolio

Portfolios can hold up to 200 titles. The Portfolio Items tab above your search results displays a running count of titles you’ve added so far.

Portfolio Items tab
Selected movies and TV shows will appear here.

Hover over a row to expose the Delete icon at right. You can remove titles before finalizing a portfolio or add and remove items later.

.
.
If you’re satisfied with your selections for now, click Save Portfolio at bottom left.

  1. View portfolio

All done! Your new portfolio will appear as a list of titles sorted by type (Movies or TV Shows) with topline viewing data and key metadata.

Sample Portfolio
Click any column header to sort by that field.

Check the boxes at left to delete or batch delete titles. Click the Edit Items button to add more.

Open the Actions menu at top right to export a portfolio.
.
.

Manage portfolios

Click the ← button at top left of a portfolio to navigate back to the Portfolios Manager. (In the future, Portfolios will open to this page).

From here, you can search for existing portfolios, open any portfolio, delete existing portfolios or make a new one.

Open the   Actions menu in the rightmost column to rename or delete a portfolio from the Manager.

Portfolio FAQs

Can I batch export portfolios?

Not at this time.

Can I add things to a portfolio later?

Yes. You can add or remove items from any portfolio at any time. Open a portfolio and click Edit Items at top right.
