Audio streams reporting to charts:
All DSPs cap their streams per user per ISRC per day before sending to Luminate. The YouTube stream cap is 50. Due to non-disclosure agreements with our data partners, we are unable to comment on any streaming caps for other providers.
All DSPs include streams from logged-in users only, with a minimum of 30 seconds of streaming time.
Video streams reporting to charts:
The above caveats for streaming on-demand audio also apply to streaming on-demand video.
Additionally -
The Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 charts only include Official streams and do not include Song UGC or Non-Song UGC.
The Top 200 Song Consumption chart includes both Official and Song UGC, but does not include Non-Song UGC.
The Video On-Demand Streaming charts in Music Connect include all YouTube video streams (Official, Song UGC and Non-Song UGC).
The above apply to both the weekly and daily charts in the US, Canada, and Global views.
- Views generated from pre-roll ads, or any other ads (including YouTube Masthead ads), are not chart-eligible and therefore excluded from the files delivered to Billboard and Luminate.
- Short-form video streams are not reported to Luminate.
