Why would an artist's consumption activity for a song or album not show in that artist's dashboard?
Consumption from an artist's Release Group or Song appearing in that artist's dashboard and discography is dependent on how the metadata lists the artist when registered with us.
If the artist is the sole artist on the recording or is a primary artist on a multiple artist listing, such as a duo, the data from that recording will be part of that artist's dashboard and discography.
For example, if the artist name is XYZ and the song is under the artist listing XYZ & AAA, the data activity will be under both XYZ's and AAA's artist dashboard and discography.
However, if the recording is under the artist name AAA feat. XYZ, where XYZ is the featured artist, the data will only be included in AAA's artist dashboard and discography.
