Acronyms, Terms, Definitions

Acronyms, Terms and Definitions:

  1. Activity Over Time = a section in a dashboard where the user can see the data by Daily or Weekly data based on the Time Frame selected
  2. Activity Type = where the user can choose to view data by Streams, Song Sales or Product Sales
  3. Ad Supported Streams = Streams from a DSP (Streaming Provider) that offer a free platform
  4. Album - a dashboard that shows the data activity for an Album (a release that contains four or more distinct Songs). They are part of the Product Sales Activity Typ
  5. Album Equivalents = The number of audio/video streams that equal 1 album unit
  6. ATD = Activity To Date from release date
  7. Breakout View = where the user can choose to view Data for streams by Commercial Model (Premium vs. Ad-Supported streams), Service Type (On-Demand vs. Programmed Streams), and Content Type (Audio vs. Video streams) and for Product Sales by Total and Format (Physical vs. Digital sales)
  8. Catalog music = More than 18 months since Release Date
  9. Chart week = Friday through Thursday
  10. Current music = Less than 18 months since Release Date
  11. Discography - This widget is available on the Artist Dashboard and lists all the Songs, Albums and Singles/EPs for the artist
  12. DSP = Digital Service Provider (i.e. Spotify, Tidal, ITunes)
  13. Genre = Genres are available as a Billboard or Luminate Classification. A song/album can have multiple genres
  14. ICPN = International Code Product Number, a term used to encompass various bar codes including UPC (12 digits) and EAN (13 digits) codes
  15. Location = 49 countries (including Worldwide) that can be selected within the site to view the data specific to each country
  16. Market = Cities/Regions that are available only within the United States and Canada Locations
  17. On-Demand Streams = From DSPs providing an interactive experience, where the user chooses what they listen to
  18. Premium Streams = Streams from DSPs with a paid subscription model
  19. Programmed Streams = DSPs that don't provide an interactive experience, where content is pushed to the consumer
  20. Recording - A dashboard that shows the data activity of one specific ISRC
  21. Release Date - date of release for the song/album
  22. Release Group - A dashboard that shows the data activity of one UPC
  23. Single/EP - A dashboard that shows the data activity of one or more UPCs merged together representing a release that has less than four distinct Songs. They are part of the Product Sales Activity Type
  24. Song - A dashboard that shows the data activity of one or more ISRCs merged together
  25. Stream Equivalents = The number of audio/video streams that equal 1 song unit
  26. Time Frame = the span of time that can be selected by the user to determine the date range of the data the user would like to show, with a beginning date and an end date
