What SV(M) does

SV(M) models viewership figures and tracks streaming titles across all major U.S. streaming platforms. We draw from a combination of public and proprietary sources including direct ACR panel data, Luminate Film & TV metadata, audience data from within the Penske Media portfolio and information reported by streaming platforms.

The SV(M) platform offers access to next-day modeled viewing figures, weekly streaming charts and rankings, intuitive data visualizations, and a wealth of analytical tools to track, measure and analyze the streaming landscape.

Next-day viewing figures

SV(M) updates daily modeled viewership figures throughout the week. Final rankings and streaming charts are published each Friday, 24 hours after the close of the streaming week.

Official streaming charts

SV(M) includes access to the weekly Top 50 Streaming TV Show and Movie charts, plus historical charts, daily updated rankings and in-progress chart previews.

Intuitive data visualizations

Viewership data, platform and genre shares, episode trends and head-to-head comparisons are available as charts or graphs, with a variety of customization options to see trends over time.

Title Dashboards

The SV(M) database tracks thousands of streaming original movies and TV shows, plus thousands more acquired and library titles. Title Dashboards combine key performance data for each title with rich metadata sourced from Luminate Film & TV.

Comparisons and Ranking Reports

The Comparison feature presents side-by-side performance data for up to 6 titles at once. Ranking Reports allow users to build ranked lists of up to 200 titles, including library titles, filtered by genre or date range.
