Quickstart Guide: Set up SV(M) in minutes

Welcome to Luminate Streaming Viewership (M)!  Use this guide to set up your SV(M) account and log in for the first time. Even if you’ve subscribed to other Luminate products before, you’ll need a separate SV(M) subscription to access the platform.

Follow the steps below to activate your account, log in and start uncovering streaming insights.

Back to Getting Started

Quickstart steps

If you’re a current or past subscriber to another Luminate product, skip to Step 3.

  1. Activate your account

SV(M) is available by subscription only. If you or your organization has subscribed or requested a demo, you’ll get an email from noreply@cs.luminatedata.com with the subject line “Activate Your Luminate Account Now.”

Open the email and click Activate Account. The activation link expires after 90 days. After that, you can request a new link from SV(M) Support

You may also receive a separate Welcome email with the subject line “Welcome to Streaming Viewership (M)!” This email contains activation instructions and Support team contact details.

InfoThe domain used to send account activation and password reset emails is cs.luminatedata.com.

  1. Choose a password

Your username is the email address you used to sign up. Once you activate your account, you’ll be prompted to choose a new password and security questions.

All set! You now have a Luminate account.

  1. Go to login.luminatedata.com

After you activate your account, you’ll be automatically redirected to your Luminate User Home. This is your personal profile; all your Luminate subscriptions will appear here. Click the SV(M) tile to enter the platform.

From now on, you can also use svm.luminatedata.com to access SV(M). Bookmark or save the URL to bypass the Luminate portal.

  1. Log in

Visit svm.luminatedata.com and log in with your Luminate user credentials.

If you can’t remember your password or need more help, refer to the SV(M) login troubleshooting guide

  1. Start using SV(M)

SV(M) Home always shows this week’s trends and a preview of the latest streaming charts. Browse trending titles or use the Time Frame menu to select a different week.

But you probably want to see more of SV(M). To do that, expand the left sidebar menu and choose Search, Charts, Comparison, Analysis or Streamers.

With those features, you’ll be able to explore SV(M) data using an array of filters, view options and analytical tools for a new level of insight into streaming entertainment. Read all about them in our User Guide
