Billboard Global Charts 

The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard 200 Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity in more than 200 countries around the world. The Billboard Global 200 includes all worldwide data; the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart removes U.S. activity

Ranking methodology

Chart ranks are based on Stream Equivalent activity. We calculate Stream Equivalent units with a weighted formula incorporating Song Sales (excluding D2C downloads) + Official Streams on both Premium and Ad-Supported audio and video DSPs.

The above formulas apply to the Global Billboard 200 charts hosted on CONNECT, but not all global charts. We modify ratios for country-level Hits of the World charts to accurately reflect consumption patterns. For more detail about equivalent weighting, see below.
