Luminate Music Registration: Add entries to the CONNECT database

Music registration: Add entries to our database

Luminate tracks music streaming and sales data. All musical entities—artists, songs and releases—must be registered with us in order to appear as a Dashboard in the CONNECT database and be included in our music consumption reporting.

Use the forms below to register entities.

Back to Registration and Reporting

Register music

We accept individual submissions for Recordings, Products and Artists. Expect registration to take 3 business days. If your entity does not appear in our database after 3 business days, review our registration troubleshooting guide.

Recording (ISRC) registration

Complete the Luminate ISRC Registration form to register a unique recording of a song. Every ISRC must be registered separately.

Product (ICPN) registration

Complete the Luminate Title Registration form to register digital or physical albums, singles and EPs at the product (barcode) level. You can register a title using a UPC or EAN.

Artist registration

Complete the Luminate Artist Registration form to add artists to our database. Certain metadata fields, like country of origin and genre, are required. At least one registered ISRC is required. An ISNI for the artist is preferred.

Airplay (radio) registration

We track Airplay data in partnership with Mediabase. Use the Mediabase New Music Registration form to submit songs for Airplay tracking. Note that Airplay data is tracked at the song level only.

Airplay data is not yet available within the CONNECT user interface, but it’s coming soon. Stay tuned.

Submit a correction

Report metadata errors and request data corrections by submitting a Help ticket directly from the CONNECT platform. Click the ? icon at the bottom left of the screen to open the Help menu.

You may also use this process to request merges for duplicate artists, ISRCs and ICPNs.
