Settings: Customize your CONNECT experience

Settings: Customize your CONNECT experience

Go to Settings to adjust default activity filters and data visualizations for your account. These settings will be applied throughout CONNECT.

Open Settings from the sidebar menu.

Back to Menu & Navigation

Back to User Guide

General

These options apply throughout CONNECT.

Location
Choose a country as your default location or opt for a Worldwide view.

Scroll the dropdown or type into the search bar to narrow down countries.

Genre Database
Select Billboard or Luminate genres as the default genre set.

Note that in Reports and Analysis, you can still toggle between genre sets. Dashboards, however, will only display one set of genre tags based on your Genre Database setting.

Release Age
Use the sliders to customize the way CONNECT defines release age periods for Current, Catalog and Deep Catalog music.

Dashboards

These options apply to Dashboards(The General settings above apply to Dashboards, too).

Dashboard settings correspond to the Data Controls menu.

Make selections here to "pre-load" your ideal data breakdown: Last week's Streams with Audio/Video breakouts, Current-week Album Equivalents in a daily grid, etc.

Apply your settings

When you’re done making selections, click the APPLY CHANGES button at bottom right.

A blue banner will appear at top right to confirm the changes. (If you don't see the confirmation banner, or if you notice your settings aren't applied, try again or troubleshoot).

CONNECT will remember your settings from now on. Even if you log out, they’ll remain in place until you change them.

You may update settings as often as desired. If you don’t like the new data visualizations, go back and click RESET SETTINGS to return all options to our defaults.
